I have purchased a couple of vehicles from this dealership and have utilized their service department on several occasions for preventative maintenance (oil changes, etc.). I have never encountered unprofessional behavior and I feel compelled to write a response regarding negative feedback left by Melissa Paul 3 months ago. I have pasted a portion of her review below as I am the customer she is referring to in her review. "I even ended up getting into an argument with another customer while picking up my car after overhearing the customer and another advisor making snide remarks and insinuations about my advisor within earshot of both of us. The fact that you would engage in indirectly criticizing your team member with a customer in front of your team member speaks volumes." That never happened. She was beside me at the counter reviewing every line item in her vehicle report, asking irrelevant questions, and monopolizing the advisor's time while a line of customers waited behind her. Her advisor was also my advisor. My car was ready for pickup and I inquired if she was almost done. I had waited for approximately 30 minutes for her to be done. At that same time another advisor came and I had asked if he could check me out. I made a comment about the amount of time she was consuming and she spun around at me and accused me of talking about her (she never said her advisor) and just went off on me. I informed her that we were not talking about her and that I had said she was taking too much time and said she was being paranoid. She then started yelling at me saying her car had been there for two weeks and she will take as much time as she needs, among other things. She was clearly unhinged and I backed off. Let me be very clear, the advisor never responded to my remark nor said anything derogatory regarding another advisor. None of the staff were involved and they handled themselves professionally. I think we all were in disbelief that this was really happening. The situation diffused once I backed off and realized what I was dealing with. I am sorry she left a scathing review. That has never been my experience with this dealership.

One star. I am extremely frustrated with my purchase experience at ALM Hyundai West. I began the purchase process on September 14, 2026. As of September 19, my vehicle still has not shipped. I have had to make repeated calls just to get basic updates, only to receive conflicting information about whether the deal was funded. I should not have to keep chasing a dealership to find out what is happening with my own purchase. Two dealership employees told me the deal was funded. On September 18, Cinch Auto Finance called to verify the transaction and told me funding would occur that day. Yet I was also told the deal should be completed by Monday. Those are the answers I received; I still need a definitive explanation of the actual funding status. The transport company was contacted and reportedly said it could pick up the vehicle on September 19. That makes the lack of a clear release and shipping update even more frustrating. I understand the vehicle may need to remain at the dealership until funding requirements are satisfied, but that does not excuse contradictory answers or poor communication. During this process, the salesperson also requested a $100–$150 personal tip. I found that completely unprofessional. Management later addressed that issue, and I appreciate that they took it seriously. However, the communication and shipping concerns continued. I am sick and tired of making repeated calls, hearing different answers, and still waiting for the vehicle to ship. I want a clear explanation of what remains outstanding and the vehicle released for transport as soon as the funding requirements are satisfied. Based on my experience, I would recommend that others avoid ALM Hyundai West. This has been an unacceptable and deeply frustrating purchasing experience.

Was not satisfied. My car was there for nearly 4-5 hours and they did nothing!! They were supposed to see did my car car have any oil leaks, but instead tried to charge me 100 bucks for an oil change!!! That’s not what I came there for. At the first 2 oil changes, I told them that the front right tire had a plug in it so wasn’t sure tires could be rotated. Although my paperwork stated tires had been rotated they had not. This most recent oil change I was told they did it. Went with service advisor to look (my R passenger tire had been missing a valve and during the recall repair they put a black valve on. All the rest were green.). When we hot to my car, tires had not been rotated. Advisor, with me with him, went to ask tech, who couldn’t remember. Tech went and got my vehicle to rotate tires. The advisor apologized and offered to wash and vacuum my car for my added wait. My appointment was at 10:30 for oil change. It was after 12:30 when I left.

I have had mostly good experiences here. One not so good i I had to wait on Saturday for almost an hour just in line. Then when I got up there, they told me for diagnostics i had to leave it. So I came back on Monday and they acted like I could wait. I already arranged to be picked up. I know this isn't a big deal to some people, but I live 45 minutes away. This is my closest service center.
